Product Introduction
The Light Material Separator is a high-efficiency airflow sorting device specifically developed for light/heavy material separation in mixed solid waste. It uses density differences for precision material sorting, widely suitable for various material sorting scenarios including municipal solid waste, construction and decoration waste, aged waste, industrial waste residue, and recycled aggregates. It is a core sorting device for the solid waste resource recovery, waste classification, and recycled building material processing industries.
This equipment adopts an enclosed settling chamber, relying on a variable frequency fan system to generate stable and controllable airflow. Based on the force of high-speed airflow on materials and material density differences, it achieves light/heavy separation. After entering the sorting chamber, materials are evenly spread. Light materials such as plastic, film, paper scraps, and fabric are drawn by airflow into the settling collection unit, while heavy materials such as brick and stone, concrete, metal, and glass settle and discharge along gravity trajectories. During equipment operation, airflow remains continuously stable with clear trajectories, achieving contactless efficient separation. The fan system features stepless speed regulation, adapting to different material and purity requirements. Light materials are separated from airflow through the settling chamber and centrally collected, while heavy materials are smoothly conveyed to the discharge port. This thoroughly solves industry pain points such as easy screen mesh clogging, difficult sticky material separation, incomplete light impurity removal, and severe wear in traditional screening equipment.
The equipment features an operator-friendly structure with a modular main body for convenient maintenance. Negative-pressure dust removal, sealed dust suppression, variable-frequency speed regulation, and electrical overload protection support efficient, stable, and safe sorting. Low noise, a low failure rate, and simple maintenance procedures reduce maintenance costs and manual effort, making the equipment suitable for long-term continuous industrial use across a broad range of applications.
Key Advantages
The equipment adopts a sealed structural design. Each module of the settling chamber is sealed with specialized sealant, and duct connections are fitted with high-density sealing gaskets, effectively preventing air leakage and dust emission, ensuring overall sealing performance. The equipment comes standard with a cyclone dust removal cylinder that efficiently collects operational dust, purifies the working environment, reduces dust pollution, and fully meets environmental production and safety operation requirements.
The fan is equipped with a variable frequency motor with adjustable impeller speed, allowing real-time flexible speed adjustment according to material type, moisture, specific gravity, and throughput, precisely matching optimal sorting conditions, stably controlling airflow intensity and sorting trajectory, effectively improving light/heavy material separation precision and purity, meeting diverse material sorting requirements, and ensuring efficient and stable operation.
The drum is mounted via sliding block bearings, allowing adjustment of the distance between the drum and feed port according to material conditions. The air outlet features adjustable-angle guide vanes that can adjust airflow velocity at the outlet within a certain range based on material conditions. The feed port is equipped with a material-spreading platform that effectively thins the material curtain, creating favorable sorting conditions for air separation. Ducts and equipment body connections use flexible hoses, effectively compensating for assembly errors and providing sufficient installation redundancy, avoiding assembly failure due to machining and installation deviations.
Equipped with a professional electrical overload protection system, the equipment automatically alarms and shuts down when faults such as overload operation or current anomalies occur, preventing equipment overload damage risks. The main structure uses galvanized sheet and modular design, with the fan and motor connected via V-belt for enhanced rotational stability, adapting to high-dust and high-impact complex working conditions. The fully sealed structure reduces dust erosion, flexible sealing components and damping system reduce operational wear, providing strong overall durability and long service life.
