Product Introduction
The Belt Conveyor (also known as a band conveyor) is a mechanical device that uses a continuously circulating conveyor belt as both the traction and load-carrying component, achieving continuous material conveying through friction drive. It transmits power through the friction between the drive pulley and conveyor belt, conveying materials from one location to another. Widely used in various industrial production and logistics transportation fields, it is one of the core infrastructure components of modern material handling systems.
Its core structure is simple and compact, mainly composed of the conveyor belt, drive unit (reduction motor, bearings, drive pulley), idler system, driven unit, tensioning device, auxiliary protection devices (cleaner, guide chute, etc.), sealing device, and receiving device. Power is transmitted through friction between the drive pulley and conveyor belt, driving the conveyor belt to carry materials and complete continuous conveying from the feed point to the discharge point, adaptable to horizontal, inclined, and specially designed vertical conveying requirements.
The belt conveyor can operate continuously, with single-unit conveying capacity ranging from several tons to several thousand tons per hour. Based on the throughput and size of conveyed materials, belt conveyor widths can be selected from B500 to B2400. The belt conveyor sealing cover can effectively isolate dust or odors generated during material conveying. Auxiliary protection devices can effectively clean return-path material adhering to the belt. The receiving tray can prevent materials from spilling through side gaps and falling directly to the ground during transportation.
Additional attachments can further enhance functionality, such as modifications to become walking conveyors or rotating conveyors, meeting special functional requirements under specific conditions.

Application Cases
The Wujiang Construction Renewable Resource Disposal Project is both a key project for Wujiang District and a livelihood project for improving the environment. Located on the west side of Jing’er Road in East Taihu Lake Resort Area, with a total investment of 199.5 million RMB, occupying 44.45 mu of land with a building area of 16,099.39 m². The project consists of a 300,000-ton decoration waste treatment line and a 300,000-ton demolition waste treatment line. Upon completion and commissioning, the annual processing capacity will reach 600,000 tons. This project can solve the outlet for construction waste in Wujiang District, improve the harmless treatment rate, reduction rate, and resource recovery rate of construction waste, reduce the long-term occupation of limited urban land resources by construction waste, reduce the continuously expanding land area occupied due to increasing construction waste generation, and reduce spatial and groundwater resource pollution caused by construction waste stacking.
