ZENX Element Product Overview
The LIBS (Laser-Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy) sorter is an intelligent sorting system built on core LIBS technology. It uses high-energy pulsed lasers to excite the material surface and create plasma, analyzing the characteristic emission spectra to accurately identify material elemental composition and content, enabling efficient separation of different materials. Hailed as the “precision ruler for elemental identification,” this device has no ionizing radiation, delivers fast detection, and overcomes the limitations of traditional sorting technologies in elemental identification. It is widely used in scrap metal recycling and grading, excelling particularly in the fine sorting of complex alloys and multi-metal minerals.
Key Advantages
Solves the question of “what elements are present and in what quantities.”
Second-Level Chemical Composition Output
No sample preparation required — directly analyzes the elemental composition of materials.
Strong Elemental Detection Capability
Can detect light elements such as Li, Mg, Al, and Si that are difficult for XRT to identify.
Real-Time Feedback Control
Can serve as an online analyzer, guiding XRT or magnetic separators to dynamically adjust sorting thresholds.
